Synthetic Jo

A staff shorter than the common bo (long staff) the jo was a staff weapon reputed to have been developed as a weapon to use against (and depending on which side you believe) defeat the great swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. The shorter length allows an artist to quickly control and transition between both ends of the weapon.

This polypropylene jo is durable and great for bag and pell work, solo work, and partner drilling. It can even be used in light sparring with appropriate protective gear.
