Our naginata is about 60cm in total length. the blade itself is about 45cm. With a broad edge and rounded tip, this polearm head can be used to practice the various techniques of naginata and even used for controlled sparring. The collar opening is approximately 25mm (1 inch) and has two pre-drilled collar holes so that it can be easily mounted to the haft of your choice with screws.
Safe polearm sparring trainers are notoriously difficult to make. This model is designed so that the blade is stiff enough that it can be used to block and deflect as the weapon is intended. Caution and control while striking and thrusting are required.
