The Senshi (peasant warrior) must move quickly to outmaneuver the better-armed and armored samurai. With speed, cunning, and their agile Kobudo weapons, the Senshi rains down blows like drops in a storm. So the Ameuso provides fighters with just enough protection without limiting mobility.

Akado Armory’s beautiful, moderately protective Ameuso 雨獺 (Rain Otter) fencing gi is a full-featured modern fencing jacket with a traditional Japanese aesthetic. Akado’s light-armored fencing jacket model, the Ameuso favors exceptional mobility over extra thick padding. Constructed with 800 Newton Puncture Resistant materials, this jacket is suitable for sparring/fencing with rattan, synthetics, and even steel provided you don’t mind the decrease in impact cushioning that comes with a lighter-armored jacket.

Measure (in CM) from the union of the neck and shoulder, down to the waistline.

Measure (in CM) from the waistline to the desired length of the jacket.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the largest part of the chest.

Please measure the upper arm from the tip of the shoulder bone to the elbow with the arm straight.

Please measure the forearm from the bend of the elbow to the wrist with the arm bent.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the waist at the belly button with a relaxed posture.

Measure (in CM) the shoulder width from the outside of each shoulder.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the largest part of the Biceps when flexed.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the largest part of the forearm when flexed.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the largest part of the wrist.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the neck at its widest point.
