T10 Shinken (SHARP) Katana with Hardwood Saya
Our forge in China had a number of overstocked and custom pieces that were not paid for by customers. We raided their storerooms to bring these pieces over at a significant discount.
This sword has an classic black color scheme with a beautiful set of functional iron fittngs. The saya (sheath) is made of a gorgeous Chianese "Wenge" hardwood and has brown real horn accent pieces.
This blade is made with T10 tool steel. So The steel is the most common on the market, hardness about 58HRC after clay tempered heat treatment process. The steel is similar to 1095 high carbon steel, it is a very good performance and ready for daily heavy cutting practice.
