The samurai is a professional warrior that is capable of standing steadfast, unfazed, against a relentless typhoon of arrows or the crashing tsunami of a charging calvary, so this jacket is made to defend its master against countless blows as the samurai fights undaunted to hold the line with bow, spear, and sword. Akado’s beautiful, highly protective Ishidora 石虎 (Stone Tiger) fencing gi is a full-featured modern fencing jacket with a traditional Japanese aesthetic that has rigid plating for extra impact resistance while still maintaining reasonable mobility. Constructed with 800 Newton puncture resistant materials, this jacket is suitable for steel sparring/fencing at tournament intensity. Now with a vented back to help keep you cool and a back waist cinch for an even better fit.

Measure (in CM) from the union of the neck and shoulder, down to the waistline.

Measure (in CM) from the waistline to the desired length of the jacket.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the largest part of the chest.

Please measure the upper arm from the tip of the shoulder bone to the elbow with the arm straight.

Please measure the forearm from the bend of the elbow to the wrist with the arm bent.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the waist at the belly button with a relaxed posture.

Measure (in CM) the shoulder width from the outside of each shoulder.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the largest part of the Biceps when flexed.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the largest part of the forearm when flexed.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the largest part of the wrist.

Measure (in CM) the circumference of the neck at its widest point.

Akado's beautiful, highly protective Ishidora 石虎 (Stone Tiger) fencing gi is a full-featured modern fencing jacket with a traditional Japanese aesthetic. Akado’s heavy-armored fencing jacket model, the Ishidora favors extra thick padding for cushioning impacts while still maintaining reasonable mobility. Constructed with 800 Newton Puncture Resistant materials, this jacket is suitable for any steel sparring/fencing that would require full armor.

The Ishidora 石虎 comes with the following features:

  • 800N puncture-resistant fabric with full coverage detail stitching
  • Rigid plates covering the front for added impact resistance
  • Built-in throat protection with “blade-catcher” pocket
  • Heavy-duty zipper and lapel tie
  • Fully ventilated back for cool performance
  • Waist-cinch on the back for an even better fit
  • Standard adult sizes between 2XS and 3XL (See sizing chart for help)
  • Comes in two standard colors:
    • Black Fabric with bright red stitching
    • Dark blue Fabric with grey stitching
